2007-2008 Goals

I. Membership

a. Examine Kentucky TSA Bylaws for any needed changes.

b. Update the membership brochure and make copies available to local chapters.

c. Increase the membership by ten percent.

d. Increase the number of chapters by fifteen.

e. Continue to involve and utilize KY TSA Alumni in support of KY TSA.

f. Organize a state work program to increase active chapter’s membership levels, and reward them for participation during the state conference.

II. Marketing/Promotion

a. Invite five schools that currently do not have TSA chapters to the state conference, and fall leadership.

b. Seek opportunities to promote Kentucky TSA across the state by electronic mail.

c. Encourage community awareness of TSA by utilizing all forms of media.

d. Create a membership packet available online for chapter use.

e. Increase newsletter circulation.

f. Continue to utilize the Kentucky TSA Website.

III. Sponsorship

a. Gain corporate sponsorship with a minimum support of $5,000.00 from KY Corporations.

b. Continue to promote the sponsorship program by establishing open communication between officers and chapters across the state.

c. Create a sponsorship data base to help future officer teams obtain funds.

d. Create an informative packet for corporate sponsors to be sent to them upon request of donation.

IV. Services

a. Work closely with the regional associations in the promotion of the regional conferences and new chapter affiliation.

b. Promote the KY TSA website, and assist webmaster in any capacity.

c. Promote TSA and KY TSA incentives such as the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, Unite to Read, and state wide membership programs.
